2. Life Is A Journey, But This Is A Trip: Medical Marijuana vs. CBD Oil
Where there’s hope vape there’s hope.
The trial process. Mouse-over the photos for the captions.
I hope you watched the video I posted in my previous blog.
I purchased the Charotte’s Web Plus oil from ThriveMarket.com. I tried a dropper-dose and found it was strong stuff. Mind you, there is no THC in it, this is hemp oil, but I felt it for about 10 hours.
I purchased the Charlotte’s Web Vape (pre-loaded) from MedTechHealthCare.com. The vape is strong as well and kicked-in quickly.
I am still experimenting with doses and applications, ways and means. I am happy to report that I was able to prevent a number of single and multiple ocular migraines this month. This makes me more hopeful and determined to find “the answer.” But, then, this morning while brushing my teeth I thought I detected a shimmer effect in my right-side lower quadrant vision: And then it began. First thing in the morning, it sneaked into my day: An ocular migraine. I took oil, I took a vape, but it already was into what it does—taking over my vision.
It was too beyond the intervention time-frame. Once it starts, it flies. This also makes me think about whether evening doses never make it to morning. This stuff isn’t time-released. The first ocular resolved within the usual 30 minutes. While sitting here at my desk writing, a second one began with the usual blind spot—that can easily be missed. But since I sensed it, I headed for the dispensary vape pen and ½ dropper of Charlotte’s Web oil. I expected a resolution within about 5 minutes but alas, no: The ocular ran off along with my continuing-to-pound heart.
And so, more experimenting.
It dawned on me that it is 95° here although the AC’s are going full force and I am comfortable. But I often forget, no matter what the weather, to drink water, whether I feel thirsty or not. So I drank. And drank. Now to keep up the hydration.
Still another ocular tried to sneak in, and this time, what helped was a full dose of Charlotte’s Web. Thankfully.
The assumptive deduction is, the stuff has to be in my system for the best results.
The question is: can the different ways, means and oils be alternated? If they differ, does the inconsistency of alternating have an effect? Is one more effective than another? Should another dose be added? I might have to apply some scientific methodology.
The first of the series on CBD oil/medical marijuana, begins here.
The next post is here.
Great trial, finally some relief
It is tough going at first and it will take some time to hit on the right combination and schedule in order to avoid and/or head off a migraine.
However, you are on the absolute right track, stay the course, and be patient with the meds and yourself. I am reading and sensing that there are a lot of positives and in addition, you are helping others who may be experiencing the same symptoms you have been and/or were experiencing. You are doing great!!! Love you!!!! Jackie
I’m glad you are finally getting some relief. Sorry you are going through this. Hopefully, help is on the way.
Wow… Glad you have had some relief!!
Good luck as you experiment!!
❤️
Well, at last you are getting some results!
All science is trial and error. I’m sure you are well aware of that fact. I think however, you may have finally found a solution to your problem. No pun intended.:-)
