203. Mother-Daughter Journey: Dreams
September 23, 2020
Dear Candy,
Thank you for all you do.
Pat (Hospice nurse) called earlier and said Mom was not eating and was sleeping a lot.
She is still fighting!
In the meantime I am having a very hard time with husband.
He needs a lot of tests, and sometimes his legs don’t work.
I am in a terrible state of stress.
I wish I could unwind, but I am like a tight spring.
I hope all is as OK as can be there and with you and that the family is well. Love from …
Hi Susie, I know you are going through a lot that’s why I don’t want to bother you.
I am handling things with your mom don’t worry.
She was screaming yesterday. I ask her what happen.
She said the lady told her her daughter is dead.
I said to her don’t worry about what the lady say,
both of your daughters are alive they talk to me earlier and don’t be scare I’m here.
She said to me the lady is lying then I said yes.
Today I notice a different with her she get down a little not the same like yesterday.
OMG! Thank you, that’s awful.
I hope she is OK at night and
that the aides (two more added to fill in 2-12 hours shifts/day).
Patricia said the same thing you said, too.
I keep in touch with the week-end aides.
I bet my mother is sensing my stress.
I am so stressed between the ER, the appointments, etc.
Everything is working out.
Thank God. Who works nights? Judy?
Yeah I think so too she know something is going on.
We are connected, she feels my stress.
Yeah, Judy work Monday to Thursday at night.
Today I was so sad because I know I saw a different with her.
But I am not giving up on her.
Thank you, she’ll go when she is ready.
Yeah, God know the best.
Now my husband is going to need an aide!
I am finishing the application process.
I am afraid to leave him alone.
U are welcome,
He cannot be by himself.
I never leave the house.
And I have my own medical appointments.
I could imagine.
Who are the people working on the weekends?
I guess that is Thursday, Friday, Saturday?
Two ladies. I don’t think you know them.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Me and Judy work Monday to Thursday.
As long as they are good.
Yes don’t worry I got u
I love you
So far so good with them
Big relief
Love u too.
Does she sleep at night?
The night week-end lady said Saturday and Sunday night she was awake all night.
WOW!
Then it is a good thing that we did this (2-12 hour shifts)
Yeah
Don’t worry yourself too much.
I know, hard to help it…
