282. Photo Journal/Poetry Wednesday at the New York Botanical Garden: 8/6/08
The Monumental Sculpture of Henry Moore
We are off to The Bronx on a hot, humid day to visit The New York Botanical Gardens; aside from the wonderful blooms there are Henry Moore sculptures visiting from abroad and beautifully placed all over. The Gardens are huge.
Bring your poetry and lets sit in the garden. Photos by Sans on a recent outting.

not sure how to do all that funky stuff but heres a poem I wrote … hope you mind I do it like this …
Journey Breathe a thought or two in to this life Don’t let this world of pain cause you strife Don’t draw the outline for your heart to fill… Let your soul guide you or your mind will be still…. Let your soul take you to places unknown… This way your spirit can show you things not shown…. As long as you soar with wings free of dust…. You will always accomplish the things that you must… Inspiring me and the all crazy thoughts within Raging in circles I search for where I should begin Swimming inside of myself looking for a clue My heart bleeds and sometimes it’s for you A moment in time, a brief second in history Capturing the essence would be really good for me On a journey to nowhere, sometimes, it seems Struggling and never getting to where I can be seen The end of this voyage is way to far away But I know I will get there somehow, someday Tami aka Touchnheaven |

The Garden photos are awesome Sue you have given me a job for spring here. I will go to our own Botanical Gardens and do a photo shoot too to share. My contribution this week is a bit out there for some people however I thought that it is an interesting post to share. Don’t shy away and please come and give me your own thoughts too, The links are very interesting that I have supplied so allow some time for them too if they are of interest. C’est Moi! This week a little fun as Sue and I collaborate. There are some real advantages to enlisting the aid of a friend. If the poetry sucks because it is a bad idea, blame Sue. If the poetry sucks because of bad writing, blame me. If the poetry just sucks in general, well, hell, I never claimed to be no Walt Whitman! (g)
