I
The butter moon
Waits to be spread
Across the sky,
Now black bread.
For brief moments, The view will last,
My eyes fill with
this bright repast.
And then with hunger,
My heart does long,
And bite by bite,
The moon
is gone.
II
Hughs, Plath:
Wrath.
Rivera, Kahlo:
Halo.
Rodin, Claudell:
Hell.
Man on the moon. I
am so cold.

I think I just lost again in the poetry. Am I that bad?

Enjoy your childlike(not childish)qualities in all your communications giving it a playful feeling!

Very nice, love the poem and the song. I wrote a paper once on lunacy, and on why the moon has such an effect on behaviour. Fascinating … hope all is well. Hugs!

I enjoyed these two poems and the song certainly put the second part into perspective 😉

Oh my! You stirred up all kinds of memories with the song, Blue Moon. I hadn’t heard it in ages! Very complimentary and fun poem, too! 🙂

Delicious. Yum yum. The moon also tastes good with a pear wrapped around it.
