Hi Aggie, I am safe but I’ll never get out of here. I bet there’s 3 feet of snow now, maybe close to 4 total– it hasn’t stopped since Christmas!

I think it’s Patti Paige!
|
I’m back…MAN! It’s hard to get a definitive answer….I didn’t see Patty Paige’s name mentioned anywhere…and some of the lists don’t bother to mention who sings it with him… Doris Day is mentioned a lot…and now that I’m listening to it, it DOES sound like her too! LOLOLOL!
Here is information that I found, along with two links..one You Tube… Who sang with Dean Martin in his original version of “Baby its cold out there” ? I know Martina Mcbride was dubbed into the song ” Baby its cold out there” with Dean Martin. But who did Dean Martin orginally do this duet with? All I can find is that it was done by him in 1959 but can’t find any where who sang it with him. And I already know this song was done as a duet with a million other people.”The song, originally performed by Betty Garrett and Red Skelton in the film Neptune’s Daughter, won the Academy Award for Best Song in 1949. … The following versions were recorded in 1949: * By Dinah Shore and Buddy Clark on March 17, released by Columbia Records as catalog number 38463. * By Margaret Whiting and Johnny Mercer on March 18, released by Capitol Records as catalog number 567. * By Esther Williams and Ricardo Montalban on April 7, released by MGM Records as catalog number 30197. * By Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Jordan on April 28, released by Decca Records as catalog number 24644. * By Pearl Bailey and Hot Lips Page on June 23, released by Harmony Records as catalog number 1049. * By Don Cornell and Laura Leslie on April 12, released by RCA Victor Records as catalog number 20-3448. * By Louis Armstrong and Velma Middleton. The song has been recorded by numerous other artists over the years, including Jo Stafford (1956); Dean Martin (1959); Tom Jones, Ray Charles and Betty Carter (1961); James Taylor and Natalie Cole (2004); and Rod Stewart and Dolly Parton (2004). It was also featured in the 1991 movie For the Boys sung by Bette Midler and James Caan. Due to the wintertime lyrics, the song is often played during the Christmas season; in 2003, it was featured in the holiday-themed film Elf sung by Zooey Deschanel and Leon Redbone.” TWO LINKS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=009kRJKf9rg http://youmix.co.uk/track/75536 LOLOL…Now see what you’ve started?????? |

I went through the youtube posts but decided to use the track. It could be Dinah Shore but I read somewhere that Patti sung it too.
