This is AWESOME! He picked a great subject and I can’t wait to buy the book. He captured the death of one of the greatest landmarks of Americana. I didn’t know he was doing it at the time and I went and took pictures of one of my local post offices that went out of business. I think it started as a pony express stop. I know it was a railroad postal service stop.

Thank you to my lovely friends, each and every one; this is one fabulous group that I hold very dear! Thank you for all the good wishes. It is hard to process the information, actually, it’s almost shocking, in fact! But he is a special person who dances to his own drummer, who has his own agenda. I think he is kind of stunned and tickled at the same time, but when I think about it, what he is doing and how he is doing it is very special, important and meaningful. Our country is changing, the values have shifted, communication is morphing and what we knew may end up gone, along with the rotary phone. We’ll see how this pans out. Hopefully this will set him on course for a career and a JOB!
