On the way home, the best place to stop for lunch is at Super Duper Weenie, no relation to Mayor-wannabe Anthony Weiner.
Super Duper Weenie has been reviewed on The Food Network by Guy Fieri. The food is terrific and the potatoes are grown on a special farm for the fries.

OMG I can’t imagine eating a sausage with all that crap on it. How many miles would one have to run to gat that little load back in the negative? 🙂
Ok, Rooie, gotta set ya straight. In these here Younited States, we don’t think of frankfurters, aka “hot dogs” as sausages. they are a breed onto themselves and us Noo Yawkas eat ;em with mustard and sauerkraut. Each area of the country appears to have put their own stamp of stuff on ’em. I could do without cheese and chili. In my book they have to be gooood, and the best ones are kosher-they are not allowed to have pork or any funky stuff that would be otherwise tossed. I have a German butcher who makes them fresh without preservatives so that when I get that calling I can get over there and feel less guilty.
Hit dogs were a great beach food. Read about Nathan’s Famous. http://www.nathansfamous.com/index.php/history
And the fries … oh them fries!
