151. Mother-Daughter Journey: Push? Shove?
I don’t have any end results to report. I went to my mother yesterday afternoon; she was under the care of a nice replacement aide. She was seen by the doctor and nurse in her building. She has a sore behind and foot. They will be X-Raying her in her room so thankfully, no trip to the E.R. Nothing appears to be broken.
The aide who was on duty with my mother yesterday and was called in, never showed up to the main office to discuss what happened and file a report, in fact, she’s gone, unreachable, (as I heard from the managed care provider who was waiting for a call from the aide’s agency as well.) So I have a call in to that agency, still waiting to hear. I imagine they are shaking in their boots.
What does that tell us about this worker? About this society?
More to follow.

OMG! I hope she didn’t deliberately, or even accidentally, do anything to your mom to cause any of this.
Would love to hear her explanation.
the fact that she’s unreachable, is not a good sign. Hope your mom will be okay. 🙏😘
I think she should be arrested for assault and elder abuse! It is beyond terrible!
Wow. Just wow.
