Carbs? Who’s Counting
This is a mix of vintage charms with some new enamels thrown in for color.
The details are amazing, it’s hard to believe you are looking at miniature works of art.
There are several “mechanical” charms; these open and/or move.
The Food “Menu”
Starting at upper left:
(new charms were made within the last 20 years, vintage were made before the 1970’s)
* small ice cream cone with red, white, green and blue crystals, (fairly new);
* enamel orange (new)
* vintage beer stein, lid opens;
* vintage pie;
* vintage enamel hot dog with mustard;
* enamel peach (new);
* vintage exercising lady with a jiggle belt,
* vintage ice cream wagon, opens to reveal 2 little enamel flavors-a red heart and a green clover (luck and love);
* vintage birthday cake has a lever underneath to push candles up;
* vintage wishbone;
* vintage pressure cooker, opens: top and bottom attached by a chain, there is an enamel chicken and potatoes within;
* vintage fridge, opens, ice tray opens, interior has “food”, whole turkey on bottom;
* vintage food scale, top moves;
* enamel pizza slice (new);
* vintage bottle of Coke;
* vintage enamel potato;
* vintage enamel pudding with whipped cream and cherry;
* vintage rotisserie with chicken inside, spit turns, door opens, chicken comes out;
* vintage box of chocolates, box opens;
* enamel cheeseburger with tomatoes and onion, seeded bun (new);
* vintage bathroom scale, (the mechanism is stuck);
* vintage toaster with 2 pieces of toast that pops up (latch on side)
