The Highline has been lengthened to The Javits Center at 11th Avenue and 34th Street. At 2oth Street there is now an entrance. Once the hike upstairs is made, there are views on both sides: the Hudson River, and the Meatpacking District. (The lower west side of Manhattan)
On the weekend it was packed with tourists, but the lovely wild flower plantings remained a delight.
After a long walk and a long wait: Lunch. At the 10th Avenue Cookshop
