77. Series: Part 15: The Walk, 2007
I’m back. I did the 5 mile walk in an hour and 45 minutes. I raised $1,525. It was hot. I was schvitzed. I’m tired. I am happy to be hot and tired; it means I am alive. Fatigue is a privelege. Over 6,000 walkers; one could barely move, but having so many supporters along with survivors is energizing. Survivors got hot pink SURVIVOR tee shirts, a pink carnation and a SURVIVOR sash.
