I’m back. I did the 5 mile walk in an hour and 45 minutes. I raised $1,525. It was hot. I was schvitzed. I’m tired. I am happy to be hot and tired; it means I am alive. Fatigue is a privelege.    Over 6,000 walkers; one could barely move, but having so many supporters along with survivors is energizing. Going back to Tulips’ last comment… Well, my Tulips, when I was working I was a BIG shopper; years ago when I was teaching at Fashion Industries I was a perfectionite. When I switched to elementary school and often got down on the floor so to speak, with little kids, I ditched the heels and wore slacks and blazers in great colors–aqua, violet, coral have about 20 that I probably will never wear again but can’t ditch. I am a righty. Have always been. There is nothing I can do with my left hand that is anywhere near what I can do with my right.
